PADI Junior Divemaster Course

Does your child have a deep and abiding passion for diving? Or, do they merely love it with all of their heart?
If so, you should consider signing them up for the PADI Junior Divemaster programme.
By becoming a PADI Junior Divemaster, they can become part of a professional team and work alongside the DM Scuba Instructors assisting with various aspects of the training courses, from assisting with buddy demonstrations to shore cover and site set up.
This course keeps them engaged and part of a team which flows seamlessly into the Professional Divemaster course which they can complete from the age of 18.
Being part of something which will teach them life skills, PADI Divemasters and Instructors share a passion for diving and an active concern for the health of the world’s underwater habitats.
PADI Junior Divemaster Course
Is your child thinking into the future in an industry working with scuba as a career? Their adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the PADI Junior Divemaster programme. Working closely with the DM Scuba team, in this program they'll expand their dive knowledge and hone their skills to the professional level. PADI Junior Divemaster training develops their leadership abilities, giving them confidence and abilities useful for later life.
What They'll Learn
During the PADI Junior Divemaster programme, they'll learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study. They complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch their ability to organise and solve problems as well as help others improve their scuba. They put this knowledge into action through a structured internship or series of practical training exercises.
As they progress through your Junior Divemaster course, they’ll expand their diving knowledge, hone their skills and increase their confidence. Then, as a PADI Junior Divemaster, they'll use these attributes to flow straight into the Professional level programmes once they become 18. The skills learnt on this course are great life skills to be able to lead, mentor and motivate others.
